The  location for the first 2017-18 Clergy Seminar in Congregation-Based Spiritual Direction is the First Unitarian UniversalistAOD2668-940x477 Church of Richmond, Virginia. From it’s earliest days, the congregation has stood for social justice—Civil Rights, marriage equality, voting rights and more. A recent renovation to the building included a new entrance, better accessibility throughout the building including an elevator, new classrooms for their Religious Education program, a new library, and a more “green,” or sustainable, building. With roots going back to 1830, First UU Church is a member congregation of the Unitarian Universalist Association.

The dates for the Richmond training are:

  • October 23-25, 2017
  • February 5-7, 2018
  • April 23–25, 2018

First Unitarian Universalist Church is located in the Byrd Park neighborhood of Richmond, the church is only a 20 minute drive from the Richmond International Airport. A wide variety of dining options are a short drive away. For directions to the church, click here.
